At last!The Royals won. They came back from bad throws and a tough opposing pitcher to win. In the interest of full disclosure, Bonderman is on my fantasy team, but I never once wanted him to win. I'm glad to see KC never gave up in what was definitely a very tough game.
Meche pitched a gem, giving up three unearned runs while striking out six in eight innings. He pitched about as well as he could have, and it's bad luck he doesn't get the win.
The bullpen held together and hopefully that part of the team is back on track. It's good to see a win like this after the past week of rough games. So, do you take your finger off the panic button yet? Or is it too early to relax?
